Since changing my blog from from Blogger to a self hosted WordPress, I’ve been wanting a completely different look.

I picked up this book Too Many Cooks written by Margaret McNamara and illustrated by Nate Wragg, at the bookstore yesterday. I gotta tell ya…. I keep pouring over it again and again. Sure I bought for the kid….not!
But I’ll share!

Today I have the pleasure of showcasing the wonderful new book “What’s Wrong with Mud?” written by Gillian Colley and illustrated by Nikki Shoemaker.
This dynamic team were the winners of Round 3 of the ABC Children’s Picture Book Competition. The competition gives new authors and illustrators a chance to use their skills by collaberating on the winning book.
So What’s Wrong with Mud?

Stuck in the Mud
This twist on the classic game will have you stuck in the mud!
What you will need: 5 or more friends
HOW TO PLAY:
1. This game of tag is played just like the regular one, with an It player chasing the others. But in this version, any players It tags must freeze on the spot and remain there — stuck in the mud — until an untagged player comes to their rescue, setting them free by crawling through their legs.
2. The last untagged person becomes the next It.
